Our daughter, Ainsley, was diagnosed with Celiac Disease at age 2 after a a very difficult time with doctors, a few long hospital stays, lots of tests, and more doctors. As diagnoses with food-related illnesses -- especially those involving gluten -- become more common, kids and families need to feel understood and be part of a community. That's why we wrote a couple of books. :)
